We at Tripline, Inc. (“Tripline”, “we”, or “us”) respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your Personal Information. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we share it, and the rights available to you under applicable law. This Privacy Policy is incorporated into our Terms Of Service.

If you are a resident of California, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the CPRA. If you reside in the European Union or United Kingdom, you have additional rights under the GDPR and UK GDPR. These rights are described below.

    2. By using the Service, you acknowledge that Tripline processes your Personal Information as described in this Privacy Policy. This acknowledgement does not constitute consent where consent is required by law; in those cases—such as for marketing communications, certain cookie categories, or optional location features—we will request your explicit consent before processing.

    Your Personal Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where Tripline or its service providers operate. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your country of residence.

    “Anonymous Information” means information that has been de-identified so that it cannot reasonably be used to identify an individual.

    • Profile details and Content you add to the Service (including photos, notes, routes, and waypoints).
    • Information submitted through contests, promotions, surveys, or third-party integrations.
    • Information from your email contact list (only when you choose to import it).
    • Feedback, support requests, and messages you send to us.
    • Geographic location provided when you sign in or use location-based features.

    • Right to correct inaccurate data.

    • Right to data portability.
    • Right to restrict or object to certain processing.
    • Right to withdraw consent at any time (when processing is based on consent).

  12. International Data Transfers

    • Mapbox – mapping, geocoding, routing, and map tiles.
    • Brevo – email delivery and marketing communications.

    16. Information you post publicly (or shared with other users) may be visible to anyone who can access those areas. Please use care when sharing Personal Information.

    17. The Service is not intended for children under age 13, and we do not knowingly collect Personal Information from them.

    18. We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect Personal Information. However, no system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

    19. This Privacy Policy is a living document. As part of the Service Agreement, this Privacy Policy is subject to occasional amendment, in accordance with the terms of the Service Agreement.
